This may be an uncomfortable topic for many. Gary Vaynerchuk recently dropped this line (in passing) during one of his podcasts.
He was talking about purpose and goals.
"I don't want to build a $14B company if only 4 people show up to my funeral. I'd rather make $400M and have 40,000 people at my funeral."
Making $4M seems like an unreachable goal for many of us, but the point is, who are you doing this for? What is the end goal? Again, what is your purpose?
If your purpose is to pay for a luxury car, gold watch, fancy resort & a mortgage, what if it were taken away from you one day? Who would you be?
