I'm UX Certified.
Yes, certified.
In 2017, I decided to attend the Nielsen Norman Group training conference in Sydney. I was surrounded by already qualified UX Designers & Managers, interested in extending our knowledge and building new relationships.
There are only a handful of UX certification programs around the world. I decided on Nielsen Norman because it is the most reputable & I plan on continuing my own UX education.
Teaching and Mentoring With
DESIGNLAB
I teach Design to Schools & Kids (friends too).
Through my alias, I teach Design to school students both in-class and also in weekend workshops.
Students (ages 8-18) study UX and Design Thinking via collaborative, project-based & engaging exercises, looking at how to tackle real-world problems.
As much as we can, we allow students to drive their own learning experience.

Background + Experience
I started my career in the '90s and have worked for a variety of design agencies, startups and clients mostly in Australia as well as in the US and Canada.
I've lead design teams and headed up a design practice within an award-winning agency.
I now work in design education, teaching future designers both young and not-so-young.
I'm available worldwide.
I'm always willing to have a conversation with people around the world about how we can work together to deliver the benefits of UX to others.
